I’m going to start out and say this venue is absolutely amazing. The first day we went to check it out, we instantly fell in love and knew it was exactly what we wanted. Each meeting we had, the owner seemed pretty nice (except a couple certain conversations) and straight forward as well as helpful when it came to questions and concerns, because of this we thought highly of her up until our wedding day and our very last meeting before the big day. On multiple occasions she rudely/jokingly threatened “oh you know I can cancel your wedding and keep your money” over the pettiest stuff. That tells me she is someone who abuses her power (even though she didn’t with us). •Multiple times at our meetings she stated that they do live on the property however they rarely come outside… that was ABSOLUTELY NOT the case. She literally acted like a hungry hawk hovering over every detail and person making many of our guests uncomfortable. Throughout the entire event she was outside. •Smoking. I have reviewed this part of the contract MANY times before, during and after our event. Some of my guests as well as myself smoke marijuana. We went to the designated smoking area which we were approached and was threatened with “you know I can terminate your day and keep your money for that (in front of guests) It’s stated in the contract there is no pot”… not one part of the contract has ANYTHING to say about weed, but I thought the fight wasn’t worth it especially as she kept threatening to terminate our big day, just wasn’t worth the hassle… •As many of our guests started to leave We were packing up items to make sure nothing was left behind and pretty much was forced (to an extent) off the property. Just to get a call later saying things were left behind and had to go back to retrieve these items, which we wanted to prevent In the first place. •Discrimination: both mine and my wife’s family are Hispanic and few people stated comments and actions that made them feel discriminated against. Also had feelings that is part of the reason she acted like a hawk and felt a need to watch us. •Vendors: We had contacted a bar service and they happened to be lgbtq friendly. They kindly said they will never work an event at this venue due to the rude comments and discrimination against their team. Seems that this is a continuous issue even after their clients spend thousands for their venue… Despite these issues our guests as well as ourselves had an amazing time at a lovely venue. Surrounded by great people and great vibes 💜 the venue is 10/10 but owners are the cons of this venue

Beautiful venue for a special event. It is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. The staff were attentive, the facilities are clean, and the grounds were lovely.

We are so glad we chose to have our wedding here in August of 2021. The venue owners are incredibly nice, helpful, and have tons of experience to make your special day run smoothly. This is perfect venue if you want a rustic feeling, yet bright, fresh, and garden too. The gardens are gorgeous for your ceremony and made for great pictures. The bridal room is huge and so charming, there is plenty of space to have your bridesmaids all get ready there. A great venue for kids to have space to run around and play. It was great to be able to bring in our own vendors to the venue. If you are debating about having the dove’s fly out during your first kiss during your ceremony, DO IT! Such a unique touch and left our guest in AWE! Thank you Genesis Farm and Gardens for making our day so special!
