Always a treat. Many local farmers selling their fresh produce and flowers, and other vendors with unusual, often ethnic or niche foodstuffs. Also things like artisanal breads, soaps, lotions, etc. Musical entertainment. Good place to take kids.

We love our Portsmouth Farmers Market! Lots of great vendors, all locally grown, locally made, and/or locally sourced products. A must for every visit for us is a stop at the maple ice cream booth - this is the creamiest ice cream and it's so delicious. Friendly vendors, and a great place to catch up with old friends and meet new friends! Every Saturday morning from May through early November in the City Hall parking lot.

We arrived a little late, but what a fantastic market! After relocating from central VT we were excited to visit the local farmers markets. We're excited for next week and will be early.... The marching band was fun to see 🙂
