Very easy hike mostly flat good for the little ones, dogs are allowed on a leash. The entrance is just a small door by the gate.

I've been numerous times. Homeless are there. They stay to themselves. The issue is trash. The city has only so many employees. If all those leaving reviews meet one morning. It could be picked up. If uncomfortable walking alone. Meet in mornings. Let's solve the problem instead of complaining.

If you are looking for a hike this is not the spot it is literally some wetlands that are created between some housing and the LA River hello activity was half and half I did not feel entirely safe but I don't think that it is unsafe if you live in the area it's a nice afternoon hike not too many people soft ground most far you going to look at the new wetlands but is what it is enjoy or if you want a real hike go somewhere else. Also probably best to park at the park off of del amo Don't try and park in the neighborhood near the country club it's kind of hard to find the place there. Final now watch out for horses I don't know where the horses stay but I did see a couple horses while I was there so just letting you know Cheers mates.

Nice place for a morning walk/hike if you're into it. Nice scenery, some wild life including a horse or two if you arrive at the right time.

I parked on street close to entrance. . Keep in mind street sweeping and no parking signs. We stayed a good 4.5 hours . Close your car doors and do not leave anything visible for others to see. The neighborhood seems calm and quiet.
I don't know of anyone who does that forgive me
If you like jogging around horse manure.
There isn't a parking lot to park your car. The parking is just parking in the neighborhood which has plenty of spots. Just make sure you check the street sweeping schedule before you park your car.
Del Mar Ave n N. Virginia Vista. next to the entrance to the gated community
I took my dog there and I saw a bunch of dogs. There were also cyclists there, too. There was a sign when you first enter, but I believe dogs needed to be on leash at all times.
Yes, you can use your bike and bring your dog. There is an easy access to the river so you can bike there easily and safely.
