The owners of Blizzard provided us one of the best tasting experiences we have had in Oregon Wine Country. We purchased the "Grand Tasting " for 5 adults and it was wonderful. It included food pairings and wine tastings. The flight was delicious and the winemaker had great stories to share about each wine variety. Blizzard is my favorite small-production winery in the Willamette Valley, and as someone who leads wine tours targeted around exactly that topic, my experience is pretty comprehensive. The entire experience at Blizzard is stylish, comfortable, approachable, and elegant; a difficult combination to pull off. Dana may be the best woman winemaker in the Willamette Valley (if you have another contender let’s chat...) and I’d happily pick her Washington wines over anyone making wine in the northwest today. The staff is lovely too; Mary, you’re amazing! — they always make us feel welcome. Lovely experience from first tasting to club member events.
