This may be a bit biased because I absolutely love L.L. Bean, but it really was the best experience. This store is open 24 hours, we went around 11pm and it was wonderful. The staff were friendly and hard at work setting up the store. We were greeted and welcomed, and had the whole store practically to ourselves. It is the most well stocked store I have ever visited as it is the biggest one I’ve ever seen. I found exactly what I had been searching for, the L.L. Bean x Todd Snyder collection. They had full size runs in just about everything, we had fun trying on things and checking out all the great products. I just happen to love this brand; their unique array of products and all the fun and wonderful colors and patterns genuinely make me happy. Checking out was great, Richard helped us and we found out he grew up in the city I live in! We even met a friend of Todd Snyder who was checking out behind us, it was honestly the best time. Thank you L.L. Bean Freeport for putting the biggest smile on my face that day. I hope to be back soon. Also, if you didn’t know, this location is not just a store, it’s a whole town!

Oh my goodness! Can't help but love a place like LL Bean❤️ I wished I had a week or more to just browse through everything! I bought pants, 2 pairs of shoes, pair of slippers. Then I bought a sweatshirt, an all weather hoody and a pair of shorts for a friend!!! I just love the atmosphere in this place so crisp and clean!!! I'll be back❤️🙃🙂

I was not prepared for how expansive the LL Bean flagship store would be. On campus they have just about anything you'll need. A home goods store, bike, boat and ski store, hunting and fishing, along with their flagship store and outlet that's just across the street. Also come by and see their giant boot and giant boot-mobile, fish pond, aquarium, park, and a Ben and Jerry's ice cream store. Just a cool place to visit all around. We're excited to visit again on our next trip to Maine.

What an amazing store! It's like a museum, loved it here so much. Highly recommend coming here even when you don't plan to buy anything. Loved every moment here. Parking available. Staff were great.

Our Flagship store is indeed open on Christmas. In Freeport, the Flagship, Home, and Bike Boat & Ski stores will all be available to shop. The Outlet, however, will be closed.
There is a lower parking lot that accomodates a few RVs.you may be able to boondock there. Call Freeport Police if you want to be sure. Freeport/Durham KOA is not far from Freeport. It is quiet and would suit you well. We are heading to Acadia August 17-26th. Trip number 7!
Not specifically, but there is a fairly large lot, you may be able to find a pull-through space.
Actually they can do repairs as well. My wife and I have had several items repaired there. Great work and great service. Returns are another option.

I stopped in. Nordic Skates are not avalable this year until late October or November. They will then be in the Boat, Bike and Ski shop. (And that shop allows dogs - the main store does not).

It's possible to park overnight across the road, behind first perish church. There are limited spaces available for trailers. Turn right coming up before arriving the store car park.

I believe they could help re-glue or replace the lining at Beans. They have inserts for boots without linings in case you want to ditch the worn lining.
Yes, our Flagship, Home, Bike Boat & Ski Stores will be open on Christmas Day. The 1912 Cafe will also be open from 9 am to 7 pm. Our Freeport Outlet will be closed on Christmas.
Its worth the trip also, very friendly and no pressure to buy. I went for 3 hours and still missed everything.

Ll bean has the best customer service. Go to a store or call. I had an old pair of snowshoes that they could not fix, but they gave me a great deal on a new pair.
Not sure what you want. Try LLBean website. It has almost everything they carry. It can also tell you where the closest branch store is. And try their phone number. Folks there are super helpful.
