We drove down from Houlton (120 miles) for my son to get his ears pierced for his 14th birthday. We called ahead to make an appointment and were told to "come stand on the yellow line and we'd be called in", and that "she's doing piercings until 5:00". Upon arrival at 4:35 we were then told she had stopped accepting clients. A wasted trip. Thanks.

Only place in Bangor area that had what I was looking for. Spent more money then planned. But the product was top of the line, way better then I thought. Ended up being a great purchase, very pleased and definitely will be going back. Husband & I arrived couple minutes before closing. Woman still welcomed us in, never rushed us and was incredibly helpful and polite.

I went to Kokos yesterday as I was looking to get another piercing from them. I have been going here for years. The lady at the front counter with black hair I don’t know her name told us to come back in 20mins as the women working out back was at lunch. We waited the 20mins and went back started to look at jewelry to buy along with the piercing and were told if we didn’t wait outside we wouldn’t get called. No problem we waited in line the only people in line and waited for over 30mins while the women at the register went out back behind the curtain multiple times and as we were the only people at the store we looked to her to tell us how much longer she didn’t acknowledge us at all. After waiting 4o mins total we fondly left with no word from anyone. I would have happily waited that long had the lady at the front told us how long or any information or even looked at us while waiting outside. No great service and super disappointed I couldn’t get a piercing done. If they are by walk in it would be better if we could recieve some info or eta or a time to come back instead of being ignored.

My experiences at Kokopellis have been generally positive, but there are a few negatives that have finally pushed me to write this review. I have come here for nearly all my piercings, and rarely ever had issues with them. Janice and Britney are wonderful and skilled; I’ve always felt comfortable and accommodated every time <3 However, the quality of the jewelry offered is a hit or miss. I would not recommend the brand of nose studs they use here; they are very low quality and made both mine and my boyfriend’s nostrils dry, itchy, and flaky. The other jewelry I’ve gotten here has been decent, however. The piercer only seems to know piercings by their colloquial names and not their anatomical names (for example, a “Medusa” is, anatomically, a philtrum piercing, but you have to ask for a Medusa for them to know what you want.) My main gripe is with the woman who works the register most days, whose name I don’t know, but she has a black bob cut and a Medusa piercing. Every time I have spoken to her she has been extremely dismissive, condescending, unfriendly, and often rude. I came into the shop to ask a question when the piercer was not there; as I walked inside, she side-eyed me up and down and sighed. I asked the question and she slowly nodded at me like I was bothering her by having the audacity to come inside and speak to her. She picked up the phone while I was in the shop and her end of the conversation went like this: “Kokopelli’s. No. You’re welcome.” In an irritated tone. She seemed like she didn’t want me there and was basically ushering me out by the time I was finished checking out. She knows nothing about piercings or jewelry and will only shake her head annoyedly if you ask her if she knows basic information (that she should know if she’s going to be fielding customer questions while the piercers are away). The best experiences I’ve ever had with her have been lukewarm to neutral, but most of the time she is incredibly impolite. I once came in with a friend and made a silly comment to him, which she openly and loudly mocked and laughed at to the other cashier. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely rude. Creates an uncomfortable and cold atmosphere.

Just call them for accurate information
Yes they do
One hole is $30
Right now they are doing Walk in piercings Thursday through Sunday for $35 a piercing
Staff is super friendly; I'm sure if you discussed your concerns they would be more than happy to help and make sure you're comfortable and safe !
Google there number but it's pretty much a walk in type of shop i think?
They do. All "basic" piercings, including septums are $25. And they will do them on minors with parents present - I would call and check on the ID requirements with minors too, just to be safe.
If they are busy, sometimes they will let you do a walk in or make an appointment when you walk in
They do.
Maybe
I was just in there the other day it went up now piercings are $30
