How many parking spaces in total? And is it open on Saturday's . I am getting married at Heisler park in mid September and want to know if it is crowded ( we need approx. 50 spaces) starting at around 1:00 p.m., also is parking free there.

public parking is not free. There is metered parking on the streets nearby but on a Saturday you can count on all those spots being full. You can usually find free parking up in the housing area just east of Pacific coast highway which is not a far walk... Great place to get married. Congratulations
