This place was okay. I got the Shaka bowl and I liked it a lot, especially the cucumber salad. But my sisters said their food was just okay. The staff could have been friendlier. We were seated outdoors and had to place our own order at the window. The cashier wasn't very welcoming. I asked for a water to drink and he just pointed to a water cooler with a spout and said the water is over there. I probably won't come back here.

The wait was super long, so we hung outside and had a couple drinks. Man was it worth it once I had the soft shell crab tacos. Delicious. As were the crab cakes. Outside seating you go up to the window and order yourself. I can see some people not wanting to do that, but we didn't mind at all. Hostesses and bartenders were very friendly. Will return

Great little beach shack vibe! Drinks were refreshing and food was good. Fried Green tomatoes were ok, but was looking for more flavor from them. Overall, a good experience.

I'm so happy I stumbled across The Bonzer Shack. My wife and I were looking for a local bar to grab drinks at and Bonzer Shack did not disappoint. There are many options to choose from on the drink menu, but I recommend their Strawberry Lemonade mixed drink. I wasn't blown away by the food, but it's better than other bars I've been too. Can't wait to go back to The Outer Banks and visit this place again!
