A good park with some small patches of cultivated flowers, a few trees, playground equipment and a whole lot of baking grass. Grass as far as the eye can see, until your eye hits the upper-middle-class suburban house tedium on all corners. The gigantic, mostly empty but full-of-fast-cars cross streets at the corner make travel from the park to the trail system nerve-racking. Not great. Why do we have so much of this non-native grass in the prairies? Why did we kill the prairies? And then why did we cloyingly name giant patches of ugly, invasive grass "Buffalo Meadows" as if this is any glimpse into how the bison of not so long ago would have met and enjoyed this landscape? Nice park. But silly.

Great location for family picnic. Sizable shelter away from the crowds. Clean bathrooms. Vast play area for kids.

This park was really nice,I would love to bring my granddaughter back here. The park was clean and the bathroom was even cleaner. It was a nice little walk around it. The children's playground and picnic tables were just right for this park. So come by and see for yourself.
