We had damage from the 2019 tornadoes and our garage was destroyed. Demolition and building material delivery was in Nov 2019. Materials sat in the rain and snow until summer 2020. The wood was moldy and swelled from moisture. This was used to build the new garage. I called the city and township offices to check up on the project and learned it had been delayed because Jason never applied for a permit. It seems he didn't realize that a building permit from the county was required. He mentioned thinking the township office would take care of it. It seemed like things were more difficult and lengthy because he didn't know how to navigate the bureaucratic side of things. He also called me at one point and talked about a project for 30 min, thinking I was someone else. Foundation work was done in June 2020. Framing began in July/Aug 2020. The build was 'complete' in May 2021. Water seeps in under the walls every time it rains, the osb soaks up water like a sponge. He sent someone to fix it but it was only caulked around the bottom which didn't help. There is no flashing around the roof trim and it looks tacked up as an afterthought, carpenter bees moved into the bare wood. There are open soffits allowing animals and insects free access. Jason is aware of these issues. My yard was also left a mess, my patio was destroyed during demolition and a giant pile of soil was left after foundation work that I now have to move by hand, or pay over $600 for someone to take care of it. Construction waste, shingles and siding, trash, nails, broken glass, and cigarette butts were left behind. Jason refuses to finish the job until another contract is signed I would not recommend this contractor

My husband and I were absolutely amazed at the quality of work that Jason's three man crew did over the course of the three week remodeling job at our house. This was no small task. The guys had to find and repair the leaks in the upstairs bathroom plumbing and then replace a ruined ceiling in the downstairs kitchen. This involved replacing the upstairs bath tub & surround, retiling the floor and shower, installing a new vanity and toilet, as well as bringing the bathroom up to code electrically, including installing a vent fan. They also retiled the downstairs bathroom and installed new hardware, toilet and a vanity. And they replaced the chipped and ripped up roll linoleum with new vinyl plank flooring in the back door entranceway and laundry room. Plus painting and detailing the three rooms they worked in. It was a truly complicated job in an older home, and Jason's crew did magnificent work. They were at work from the moment they arrived until they left, save time off for lunch. They were very helpful and accommodating to our suggestions and sudden changes of plans and requests for modifications. And, as said, the quality of craftsmanship and care taken to our house was plainly amazing. Jason was great to work with and very helpful in our progress toward getting this work done. He met with us several times, once at the local Home Depot to choose fixtures and materials, and helped us understand and pick out the correct items for the project. He helped us navigate the choices of flooring, tile, grout, paint and even the size and style of tub that we wanted. His expertise and experience in materials choices was very definitely needed as we worked out what we wanted and how we wanted the final project to look and feel. It definitely pays to have the help and advice of someone with knowledge of how this kind of project goes together. Jason was just the man for the job. In all, we ended up with three areas of the house looking better than the rest of it in ways that made us think -- especially in the bathroom rework -- that we had just had high-grade hotel room bathrooms installed in our house. The edges of the baseboards were sealed, the grout work on the tile was excellent, the walls around the tub and shower were waterproofed and all the plumbing joints and connections were check and sealed as necessary. These guys are the same type of craftsmen who built the fine cathedrals that we saw on a trip to Italy some years ago. Such quality work was to us an unexpected treat. Attention to detail and quality of work was exceptional. We'd have them back again to do more rehabs and updates in an instant. Nils & Cindy Medway, Ohio

Used Angis list/home advisor to get an estimate on some repairs for water damage to my upstairs bathroom and the ceiling in the living room. Quick respond and came out the next day to draw up the estimate. Quickly got the estimate to me to provide for the claims (home warranty issue as well as damage). Very responsive to texts and emails that worked the best for me to communicate. Job took about a day and a half, which was more because we took our time picking out the new flooring. Very professional crew and great clean up and follow up.
