They will not help with any EDD claims. They are a contact for workforce, equipping you with work skills, looking for a job etc. And you will need an appointment

You can get the application between 8-11 AM. Fill it out and mail it in. A lot faster.
The website is probably the only way to contact EDD. When I called the number it only gave information and suggested I use the website.
