I live just down the way from this church and on Saturdays I take my 3 year old german shepherd there in the fencened In area and play with her so she can run. I don't come unprepared infact I bring food and water to last 2 or more hrs doggie bags as well and leave the place looking as it was before we got there. So thanks grace church for this apt living on a dog like mine is rough places like yours are far and few and that is exactly why I respect your ground.

On the journey to find where the Lord is directing me to go, a friend and I decided to visit Grace Baptist Church on February 1, 2015. Prior to going, we noticed a lot of construction going on, and the church now has a brand new parking lot. It is very nice and adequate for the number of people attending. Upon arriving for the 10:45 service, security in the parking lot was kind and handed us an umbrella to walk from the car to the building, so we wouldnt get wet. The gesture was very heartfelt but living in Oregon were pretty much use to it. We arrived just a few minutes after service began. Upon entering the gymnasium (where services are held at this time, while the sanctuary is being remodeled) it was difficult finding a place to sit. So we stood in the back until everyone was seated so we could scan for two open seats. Luckily, we found a place to sit after much observation. If you like praise and worship music, you can sing your heart out here. There is a choir, and many talented musicians playing a variety of instruments. Lyrics to the songs are projected on a big screen so you wont feel lost when the songs are being sung. The message given was both interactive and educational in helping oneself grow spiritually through scripture. It was also touching and encouraging to me since what was being spoken related to myself and what i have been going through. At the end of the service we were greeted by a few people that noticed we were visitors and made us feel welcomed. This is a larger church in the midst of being remodeled so the real atmosphere is really still not known. But overall i had a good experience. There is much to do here if your interested in seminars, groups such as celebrate recovery, etc. you may want to visit.
