Overall a decent place. Ordered the 10oz prime rib, bang bang shrimp, she crab soup, and calamari. Prime rib - pretty disappointing prime rib. They put the prime rib on top of the potatoes and not enough room on the plate to cut the meat without mashing the potatoes and vegetable everywhere. The vegetable mix was very bland and was pretty much bunch of onions on mine (not very well portioned between two plates). The meat was okay. 6/10 Calamari - tasted store bought. Not much else to it. 6/10 She crab soup - it was actually pretty good. Not too many crab pieces with shells still attached to it. 8/10 Bangbang shrimp - probably the best thing we ate. It was crunchy and the sauce was good. 9/10 Overall it was a decent experience. Our server seemed to cover too many tables alone which meant he only came to our table to either bring us food/drink but didn't really check in much besides that. Who I assume was the manager had to visit us to help him out later.

This place was so cool! And on top of that the food was amazing. Their she-crab soup was to die for! I got the salmon as well and it had a nice, unique glaze to it. My mom got the bang bang shrimp and that was soooo good. They have a lot of great options! I loved everything I tried and will definitely be going back.

I am so glad I found this gem on night one of my 13 week assignment! Absolutely amazing and cheap. I got the she crab soup. Beef tenderloin pasta with mushrooms. Smoked Gouda cream sauce. Ceaser salad. Homemade apricot bread pudding! The old building was beautiful.

We came in the other night and enjoyed an excellent meal. We had not been for a couple years but the quality is just as great as ever. Prices are always very reasonable for the dishes and if you make a reservation (not required) you will be seated nearly as soon as you walk in the door. Head down and check them out if you haven't been before!

Leaving him a tip and a note thanking him would be a great start in addition to posting a 5 star review.
Yeah! It would be nice if they allow him and others to investigate. I'm about to send them a message when I saw yours 😄
No dress code, but we do require masks to be seated and move around the restaurant
They have accommodated me with 3 days in advance, same day reservations, and just showing up with a large party. I think as a matter of conveinence for your party, and any restaurant, making a reservation for large party is a good idea. Freemason Abbey is an extremely popular restaurant so I think it's best to call and make reservations.
Very good, and fun. They have closed every other table and put pictures of celebrities at the closed ones.
I'm afraid we do not have valet, but we have three parking lots surrounding the building which are free for our guests, and we also validate for the Freemason St. Parking Garage up to two hours.
Yes they are.
We no longer serve lobster in the restaurant on any day. It was a special we had on Wednesdays for $16; a lobster tail paired with a choice of seafood. Due to the price and lack of consistency of the quality, we had to change our special to Seafood Pairings on Wednesdays, which is your choice of two seafoods (out of a list of seven seafoods) for $17, which comes with smashed potatoes and vegetable medley. The Seafood Pairings menu is available on our website at www.freemasonabbey.com We have military discounts for active duty and retired military; 10% off entrees.
