I have a fedex account, I had them print out the label that I emailed to them. Hood River Postal Annex charge $2 for print and computer fees! The UPS store charges .10 cents for the exact same service!

Always a great resource when you need something notarized or shipped FedEx. The one star reviews that complain about prices seem to miss the fact that this is a for profit business, not a government agency. If you want to pay postal rates, go to the post office; but don't expect a private company to sell you postage at cost.

I spent the summer camping in the Mt Hood region and needed to receive a number of packages over the course of the summer. It did get a little pricey at $5 a package in the end and I should have just gotten a mailbox, if I’d been thinking in advance. Overall, a pleasant experience, though. The staff were great. And contrary to another review, I never saw customers in the store without masks. The staff were also masked. I felt very safe inside the store. I would not hesitate to use their services again if I am back in the area.

Shipped a small package there with USPS first class international (it was recommended by staff as the cheapest option available). The charge was pretty expensive for such a lightweight package so I went online afterwards and use the USPS postage calculator online, to get a quote. I entered everything exact same and made sure my package fits in the dimensions requirements and value of content. It turns out USPS quote me for 50% of what Postal Annex charged me. I couldn't believe my eyes and double-check everything I entered in the postage calculator - still, it is still, 50% of what Postal Annex charged. On a side note, service was slow if you compare with post office staff.
