STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I read great reviews about this place so I decided to take my car for a 2nd opinion for state inspection. The old guy with the white hair was very rude and seemed annoyed to even talk to me from the start. He saw the rejection sticker and immediately told me I would still have to pay to get it inspected - no greeting at all or "how can I help you". I'm still confused as to why he would assume I didn't expect to pay in the first place. He asked what I was failed for and I told him I wanted an honest 2nd opinion and did not feel it was necessary for them to know of anything prior. He rolled his eyes, took my keys and told me to go wait. Inspection done and he handed me an unofficial receipt with barely legible writing. I asked for a quote and it was ridiculously high for what is needed to be repaired. The first shop I went to marked me down for more repairs needed yet the quote was still couple hundred less than what these SCAMMERS at Sunoco quoted me. Drove off the lot and now my steering wheel shakes when I'm breaking below 25mph!

Location is close to my office so brought my vehicle here for inspections. Never again. Recently went in for inspection, but check engine light was on due to an issue I was planning to repair myself and that had no impact on passing inspection. Inspection immediately failed and reason given made no sense. They said I would need parts that were costly and took time to get, or I could pay the fee to reset the system to temporarily pass inspection. At a cost of $200+. I declined, and over the weekend took it to a friends shop to verify if the issue was legitimate. It was not. There were no issues that should have prevented my inspection to pass inspection, and they confirmed the “issue” I was told by this shop was non-existent. Stay away, and certainly don’t go for inspections if you have a check engine light on. They’ll use that to try to sell you unneeded work. I would think this “temporarily passing” an inspection would go against inspection protocol. Avoid and find an honest shop.

Horrible service, waiting to get a state inspection the car in front pulls into the bay. I pull up to be next and the serviceman comes out and puts the cone in front of my car and says we're closed.
