Good place to camp just pricey. But for 5 dollars a day you can grill, swim, and have a playground for children. Showers and bathrooms. Usually cleaned.

Second year in a row to camp at Davis Lake as our last Cub Scout adventure for the year — enjoyed it just as much the second time. It would be a solid 4-star with one exception: the bathrooms and showers located at our campsite were locked so had to drive to other side where RV /trailer camper spots are located in order to shower. We camped in tents. Overall a great place and beautiful lake!

We always have a great time. Nice campsites, clean bathrooms and lots of fun and good eating with the family

Davis Lake Campground is a beautiful place! Only 28 campsites about 1/3 is first come first serve and 2/3 reservable at recreation.gov. We had a reservation for site #12. We had to back uphill to park in our site and that was okay since we had a beautiful view of everything from that site. Nice bathhouse if you need one. Camphost was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back soon.

Forest Service decision. All Corp of Engineer campgrounds have open showers!! Maybe Forest Service doesnt have $$$$$? It certainly isnt about covid 19.
