Staff was very professional and my tester makes me comfortable before we started.

I passed driving test without taking a class with them on my first test. I did the test with Ed Dennis. I was really nervous because English is my second language and I get used to drive in a different lane. Ed knew how to make people feel comfortable around him. He gave very clear instructions and directions that was very helpful.

The male instructors are awesome. They make kids feel at ease and understand they are nervous. The woman instructor is mean and looks for ANY reason to fail a driver. Avoid appointments with her. You will notice she always has appointments available, there is a reason for it. The rest of the staff are great and very helpful. ODEC is such a better experience thab DMV, unless you have the woman instructor. I would bet her fail rates are the highest. She should go work for DMV!

We have been very pleased with this program. It hasn't been the easiest to schedule all the drives, but my son only finished his classes one week ago, and he will have his final drive this week. My advice is to check the drives available each day, and once they come up to schedule two at a time. I have called the customer service number a few times for various things, and they have always been very polite and helpful. My son has liked all of the instructors he has worked with. I do wish they had drives closer in Portland, instead of out in Clackamas.

No, Holmes.
Call the office Monday and the office staff will be great to help out with all your driving needs.
They will take you around town in different speed zones, have you cross lanes of traffic to turn, see if you know what all the lights are (like the flashing yellow or one specific intersection is all flashing red) If they tell you to turn at the next intersection it just means the next street whatever that may look like. (I had thought it meant like a 4 way stop but its just a meeting of 2 or more streets). Let's say you're at a stoplight or stop sign and you're wanting to turn on a red light if you're in the farthest Lane next to the sidewalk just make sure when you turn that you stay in that lane instead of then getting into the lane over, not until you complete the turn, turn on your signal, and always look over your shoulder. Whenever you change lanes they will look to see if you check your blind spots!
