The optometrist I saw in March 2022 didn't listen to the challenges I was experiencing with my vision. When I tried to discuss further with her she acted annoyed and didn't further check my prescription, saying nothing had changed. I ordered contacts with the same prescription through my insurance plan. I continued to experience vision issues and went to America's Best in Gresham. The optometrist was fabulous, listened to my concerns and let me know that in fact my prescription had changed. This resulted in me needing to order new contacts with the now correct prescription and pay $400 out of pocket since my insurance already paid this year. To say I am irritated with the care I received at the Clackamas location is an understatement.

Went there 4 weeks ago and paid for eyeglasses and paid for contact fittings. I also paid for the prescriptions that come with the eyeglasses and contact lenses. I was fitted for both. Told to call in a week and a half to make sure prescriptions were good and then they would give me the actual contact and eye glass prescriptions. I went back in person to pick them up and the Asian lady at the front desk said no I cannot have them. I told her to talk to my eye doctor and then call me back. She never did. I called 4 more times and left messages and two voicemails. I also sent a email with no response. I paid for these prescriptions and they are legally mine. This is the worst store ever!!! Do not go here. There are a million other places and this place could care less about customers. This is simply ridiculous and makes no sense why they cannot give me the prescriptions I paid for. I am seeking legal council now against americas best. It’s absolutely crazy. Worst place I have ever been. Stay away!

My appointment was fine, the doctor was nice. After my appointment I met with someone to go over my prescription, order glasses and contacts and that was a poor experience. I felt rushed, they couldn't find my insurance info so they quit trying after the first time and were annoyed by it so made me pay full price. The person helping me wasn't helpful and made me feel like I was taking up too much of her time. The eye doctor was going to give me a sample pair of contacts to try, I had to ask the girl 10 times for them and she made a huge deal that I was trying to get a free pair and then wouldn't give me a copy of my prescription which I paid $100 for. It was a horrible experience. I've been to this location before and had s great experience so it was quite upsetting. Also I finally got the sample contacts that were supposed to last a month and they ripped in my eye after 2.5 days.
