While this is such a beautiful location it is also hidden by so much tragedy. This is a massive border crossing directly through the park. The trails are completely piled with trash kids clothes backpacks and shoes. It's really heart breaking that more can't be done to fix this problem. It's especially annoying when the helicopter follows you around on your hike several times to make sure you're not up to any good. But I fully back and understand how much work and how hard it is for the agents out there. I just wish things weren't so horrid behind this beautiful location.

Beautiful park and well maintained! Also the parking is affordable.

Beautiful surroundings and a rare lake in southern California. Saw lots of fisherman. There was a $3 free to park where the best fishing was but some of the park is free. Good hiking, tables to picnic and beautiful views. I have allergies that bothered me a bit. The hikers in our group used tick repellent.

Beautiful place. Very well maintained. A volunteer told us about the place, where to hike how to pick a trail, etc. There are numerous gardens that are very well kept and worth a slow stroll. Lots of picnic tables, trash cans, restrooms. Make sure to clean up after yourself and help keep this place beautiful!!

You can't access the lake from the county park. The entrance to the lake marina is about a mile before the park. They are open Saturday Sunday and Wednesday
Yes like 3 bucks to park
Yes, you need license. There are boats, there is a pier and also areas around the lake you can fish from.
The playground is open and I know the picnic tables are available. I do not know if they have barbecues available.
Dogs must be on leash. The park is open.
