Our family came here for dinner on our last day visiting Blue Ridge. There was a line waiting when they opened the door. They filled up quickly; very popular place. We all shared the trout dip and cheese fries. Both were excellent. Burgers and wings were also delicious. They fry and then grill the wings with sauce and that gives them a good taste and texture. I recommend getting a side of bier cheese for dipping when getting a burger. Although I did not have any on this visit, I did notice an extensive list of whiskeys to enjoy.

We are regular patrons and love the food and atmosphere at Chester’s. Last nights meal was wonderful as usual. But our server, Jensen was awesome! She was friendly and respectful. She was engaging and knew the menu and bar choices and made wonderful suggestions. She was engaging without being intrusive. She is an asset to Chester’s and we look forward to many more encounters with her. Thank you for a memorable evening!

My husband and I were in the area and wanted to eat. When you go in the restaurant you seat yourself. We ordered the baked soft pretzel for an appetizer which came with a side of spicy mustard (my favorite) and beer cheese and let me tell you something. That was the best baked soft pretzel I had in a long time. I wish I had a photo to upload and show it but I promise you when the server put in on the table it was gone in seconds. Next, I ordered the Greek Salad with blackened salmon and they ordered the grilled blackened salmon with mushroom parmesan risotto and garlic broccolini. Both of our entrees were delicious and seasoned well. If we are ever back in Blue Ridge, we would come back to this restaurant for sure.

Love it here! They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait (definitely worth it). Friendly staff, huge bar, lots of seating (indoors only). There's a small, cozy bar upstairs that you can hang out in while you wait for your table. I highly recommend the Caesar salad with blackened shrimp- it was delicious and plentiful. The wings are always cooked to perfection. The big pretzel with the melted cheese is 5 stars. If you're in the mood for a mixed drink, I recommend the Cartel Runner. Carolyn is a doll, be sure to ask for her!
