I cannot give this company enough praise. There are tons of mattress places in Chula Vista - how to choose? We stopped in some of the more popular big stores and were immediately hit with floor salespeople and prices out of our budget. So for us, we went online filtering our search by way of ratings as well as the number of reviews, and Mattress Store San Diego (MSSD) stood on top. We first communicated by phone and our first contact was friendly, informative, and professional so we decided to have a look. MSSD is tucked away in a small industrial area - you'll need to trust Google to find it. Upon entering the store first impression was small yet organized. We were expecting high sales pitches but received the opposite. Darren (owner) started with the least expensive options first. Both Darren and Ron were extremely knowledgeable of their products and presented the pros and cons of the mattresses we were looking at. Again I stress NO high sales pitches or pressure in buying. I was taken back by how low these prices were but could understand the advantage given the smaller location and lower overhead. We bought a queen-sized mattress and collapsible bed frame all of which fit inside my Toyota van. Important as we had a 1,100-mile drive down to Cabo. While the mattress did need a coaxing by slightly folding Darren assured us it would make the trip without damage and he was right.Darren knows how to run a business, with low overhead, excellent staff (thx Ron) followed with customer support all are key combinations to success. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks guys!!!

I have purchased several mattresses from Darren throughout the years and love them all! Great quality for a good price and Darren is very accommodating. This place has excellent customer service and I would definitely recommend.

I had originally won a giveaway for a queen sized lavender gel pillow and was so stoked as I needed a new pillow. I slept so much better after the first night! It has been about 3 months since I won that pillow and it still feels like brand new, except better, it has molded more to my head which makes it even more comfortable :’) I decided I wanted to get my entire family these awesome pillows so I did & the pillows did not disappoint! We are so thankful to Mattress Store SD and their very generous team. Only wish I would’ve found them sooner! Thank you!!

You see the reviews? I did too so came by and Darren is so helpful. Doesn't come off as some thirsty desperate salesman, he just helps and he enjoys what he does! Picked up a deal for a queen mattress and had it delivered to my house within the hour. Thank You Darren! Highly recommended! The mattress felt and looks great!
