Great experience at the store today. Thank you, Sigourney, for your technical expertise and critical eye while helping me identify my Apple Pencil as counterfeit. With the information you provided I should be able to deal with the issue.

Either all Apple stores are going down like a burning ship, or this particular location is the worst Apple location to exist. I have been an Apple customer since 2004 and have gone to their stores domestically and internationally. I came here to purchase an iPhone 13 Pro Max 250+GB. I decided to trade-in my previous iPhone and data transfer the existing 100GB of data, that’s less than 50% space usage for the new phone. I even took the time to clean out most of my old data for the transfer to occur properly. The sales person was unusually rude and didn’t know any of the specs of any of the devices we inquired about. Then when I decided to purchase, they said it would take 2 hours, but come back at 4just in case. I told him that he could give me a call on my business phone or an email when it’s done or if they have issues. He said “it’s not our policy.” I gave them 4 hours and when I returned they said it failed to transfer, and I can either leave my phone overnight and possibly get it properly transferred over night, or reverse the trade in. If I reversed the trade in I would not be able to transfer my phone for 6 months. Not to mention they broke my current phone case. Not only did they rob me of my entire day, they left me in a worse position than I was before coming. Thanks Apple of Avalon. You’ve made me consider switching to Android… my wife said “don’t be the green one in the group chat” she can thank Apple of Avalon!

I have been delivering packages for quite a while now. I get a lot of pick ups for the apple store, in Alpharetta. Today for the first time, I was racially profiled. All the information about the pick up is on my cell. Usually I walk in, show them the information and I get the order. Today I was asked a lot of questions and then I was asked to show my id. The sales lady started treating me as if I was going to steal the package. She kept demanding to see my id. Then I had to scan the package to my phone before I could leave the store. I have only had to scan in someone's presence once, the first time I had to deliver a package from apple. So if I'm spending my money on their products, I'm good. If I'm picking up to deliver I must be a criminal. Apparently there is still no justice for minorities in some places.

Laptop was repaired. The people I worked with were knowledgeable and friendly, and the repair was done a day sooner than expected. Details: Dropped off my work laptop for repair of a cracked screen. First thing I noticed was how there were more red-shirts (employees) than customers. The store reminded me of an ant colony with people milling around but no clear direction on what to do or where to go. I was told to go to a table and wait. Several minutes later someone came out to get some info. Several minutes after that another person came out for the laptop. On the positive side of things, the laptop was repaired and returned to the store a day earlier than expected. I saw that it had been delivered and called the local number for the store to make sure I could pick it up, but the local number is a farce that redirects you to Apple tech support no matter what option you choose. A couple of hours later I got a notification that the laptop was ready for pickup, so no harm done.

i have not used my iPad for some time now ,how can i unlock it.i entered username and password i have entered the one i think i know and it didn't work.
We walked in and were immediately met by a person who pairs you with sales and support staff. The store was packed but the staff kept the process orderly. We were in and out in approximately 30 minutes.
Yes is open on Sundays
If its still under warranty or you bought Apple Care they will repair it for free. A green line is usually a hardware glitch.
I have no idea. I'm not an Apple user. Sorry.
Only by appointment, social distancing, partition between genius person and us, sanitation stations everywhere
You Have To Take It to The Apple Store in the mall
