***(addind a note) my desire is that all animals receive the care they need. I appreciate everyone who makes the lives of animal's better. I said this to the woman who runs this facility. I told her I appreciate her dedication to animals but that we disagree on this issue. .. I visited this facility 2 years ago looking for a large animal to adopt. Inside a barn were cages filled with bangled kittens. There were many cages and the kittens were reaching out and calling for attention. The owner said that she breeds to raise money for the facility. About a year later I spoke to her again (she was asking for donations ) and I asked if she was still breeding cats. She asked why and when I told her I didn't like the condition that I saw them kept in and I wouldn't make a donation. There was a back and forth . She stated that her cat rescue facility passes inspection but she would not address the condition of the cats in the barn. She kept changing the subject and challenging me. She initiated all of this contact (asking for a donation, then why i wouldnt make one, then insiting i defend my decision ) She talked about her cat facility passing inspection and getting high marks. It wasn't the barn or the cats for sell that she was talking about and she kept avoiding that issue. A week ago my mom was in Rite Aid (here in town) she had her dog with her and a man began a conversation with her. He started talking about animals. His conversation went to his connection (a personal relationship ) to this facility and he began talking about cats. He spoke of cats kept in cages in the barn. He said he felt bad for them that they don't get out. It's clear the practice is continuing. I would to see a better condition for all the animals, including ones being sold. I plan to follow up on this.

I have gotten the amazing opportunity to go to one of the teaching seminars at Hearts & Hands Animal Rescue. Nancy was such a gem! You can see how much she loves her animals, and equally how much they love her. She gives so much respect and kindness to everyone, and really treats people with encouragement and respect. I have been so blessed to learn from Nancy and she had changed the way I approach the relationships in my life. She works tireleasly for everyone under her care and she is a gem for these animals that would be in so mich trouble without her as their voice. I will definitely continue to participate in her seminars, and will volunteer as much time as I can. This rescue will be my amazon smile rescue of choice, my monthly donate, and I so encourage everyone to take a look at this magical place!

I spent an entire day with Nancy and the animals volunteering and my heart was simply stolen. I got to pet a cow, a zebra, and fell in love with Nancy's programs and this rescue organization. I am so touched that I have decided to make this my company charity! Bring your friends, colleagues, donate, and make a difference here. LOVE this organization!!!

This lady is very unprofessional! She has publicly harassed my wife several times for having a similar business name. Call me old fashioned, but slandering and defamation have no place in helping kids, the less fortunate or rescuing animals? I guess it's a different world these days!
