My friend and I had dinner before going to the OLD GLOBE. The atmosphere was relaxing and quaint, the server was attentive and the food was exquisite. The Skirt Steak was juicy and tender, the Mussels were succulent and the Frittes (fries) were among the best I've had. It is pricey but worth it. I will definately go again.

Cozy french bistro with traditional french cuisine and a cute bar that you can dine at. The duck confit was perfectly executed with a crisp exterior and delectable, moist interior. Brussels sprouts were a nice accompaniment. The scalloped potatoes are very rich with lots of cream and butter. The fries were decent. Crepes suzette not bad but there are better choices on the menu. The french onion soup is very good with a flavorful beef based broth and plenty of sweet onions. The place is tiny so reservations are highly recommended.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner here with my man friend. We were came down to San Diego for a visit from rainy Portland, Oregon. The service was attentive and professional, the cocktails were perfect and generous, and the food was really really good. Great French comfort food. Thank you, La Bonne Table!
