Nice little french bistro on Hillcrest. We made a reservation for 8 at 4:30 pm but we thought could get in early, but that day they opened at exactly 4:30pm so we where the 1st in and had the place all to ourselves, but it got busy very fast. They have a great menu and very good wines. We had the Mouton Cadet from Bordeaux an it was a great choice. We ordered several dishes to share between us and everything was delicious. One of our orders got backed out, but it got really crowded, but at the end it finally came and it was ok. I highly recommend the Orange duck and the rack of lamb. Onion soup was also very good. Our server did a great job for a packed place. Definitely I will come back.

Very good. Atmosphere was excellent, real Parisian bistro not higher end stuffy restaurant but open and airy. Nice artwork, very friendly waitress and other staff seem to be having a good time. So were all the customers. And of course, excellent food. Only drawback which I assume they will correct soon is their website which doesn't work, but was also misleading. They emphasize their Tuesday night special, which would be a fixed prix menu. I always enjoy these because it's a chance for the chef to show off and put together what he or she really likes! I can always choose what I like, but I think it's more fun to see what the preparera puts their heart and soul into. So we arrived on a Tuesday night only to find out they don't do that, but they're planning on it in the future. Oh well. Since we'll definitely be back, I'm fine. But this is the only thing along with their disastrous non-functioning website that keeps them from a present five-star rating. And if they get their act together, they definitely get that fifth star. 🤔👏😎

The best meal I've had so far in San Diego, and I've been here over a week! I had the salmon Wellington and it was delicious (photo attached).

Oh my god this place is so good! Going to have to go back a bunch of times, to try everything on the menu! The muscles with saffron are a must try. The chocolate mousse is like no other. Not too sweet, a little bit bitter, and not too rich. So so good!
