Went to see Vortex with my wife and a couple friend of ours last week. We loved the new cinema and the film was excellent as usual. A premier theater for arthouse films in dan diego. Im soi glad it returned. Very happy to be members of this fine organization. Greg Main

The Digital Gym Cinema is a very small movie theater with maybe about 50 seats. They don't show newly released popular films but rather specialize in well made foreign or art films and documentaries and that just happens to suit me fine. I love the place but I wish their website was a little easier to navigate.

It's a small, single screen independent theater, with an eclectic selection of movies. They don't overcharge for popcorn. They have great coffee and interesting snack options. There's a comfortable small lounge area, and even some classroom space available for rent . Very cool!

So far as I know, it's all street parking. There are a lot of metered spots nearby (free on Sundays and evenings), and unmetered spots a couple blocks' walk away.
