Run away from this company at all costs. They are currently holding my entire pension hostage, idk if it’s because they don’t have it because of mismanagement or what. They told me 5 business days on April 11th and continue to not have any meaningful updates about actually paying out my 100% vested pension. I feel so bad for the employees of companies that use this firm. If your employer uses this firm just know that they are absolutely cutthroat about benefits and selling you down the river for pennies. Absolutely runaway.

Ok they are great but when I'm told that paperwork will be sent out for a claim and they forget it really messes with people's life's. Thier mistake is going to put me 2 months behind on my paycheck. Then they say it can take up to 2 weeks to get the paperwork processed. That's really stressful. Not like me being off work is stressful enough. I can't imagine how many people this may happen to. Since it was thier mistake they said call back and request for the paperwork to be expedited. The least they can do is take the mistake into thier own hands instead of placing it back onto me. Tell me you will fix it and expedite it automatically. Fix your own mistakes.

The Standard has not even accepted my claim for 7 months. They told me when I needed my follow up surgery that they would roll my claim over to long term disability. I guess long term means I will wait for the long term. Surgery done 7/2/2021 and no help. Told to submit papers, numbers, physician contacts, etc to which I have done everything asked of me. In November I was told everything was waiting for review. Nearly Jan 2022 now and nothing is resolved. I have made many calls that only gets an answering representative who has no control over anything. Many emails sent to disability analyist with no follow up. Why am I paying monthly premiums for nothing but the run around. I even returned a check they sent me for first surgery (short term disability) that was an overpayment, to have them only resend it back to me. I had to pay twice to return it to them. Seems like one hand dosen't know what the other is doing. Very bad customer service.

They'll ripp you off don't deal with this place. My refund was less than 200$ and they said I'd get the whole refund back but they lied. Typical insurance company. Million dollar business that steals from folks that have nothing. FU standard. Theirs a special place in hell for ppl like you.
