Awesome museum! Would definitely want to come back here. Arrived at 13:30 and this was not enough time for me to see everything in the time I needed. The museum -unfortunately- closes at 17:00. It is definitely possible to spend a whole day here. I was sad to learn that Howard did pass away not that long ago. Rest in peace Howard.. absolutely loved the miniature circus that you made!

Absolutely fantastic place to visit while you are in the area and much better than I expected. Visited the main house first and enjoyed the inside tour plus outside on the waterfront patio . The museum contained so many unique pieces from the original circus and was very well laid out for up close viewing. Lastly we visited the art museum and the building itself plus the courtyard was just as impressive as the art itself.

I grew up going to the circus, and loved it. We'd previously been there for a fabulous wedding reception. We got a limited look at some of the museum, but most was blocked off. We were visiting friends again and returned with them. The circus part was first, and brought back lots of memories. We spent a good hour there, before crossing to the artwork. All was quite enjoyable. It's still a little surprising to see a portion of what the family was able to accumulate over the years. The grounds were just as worthy, especially the banyan trees. A Sarasota must see.

Absolutely beautiful place we visited it in the middle of December. Natural setting with beautiful art galleries and mansion which looks like piece of Europe. There are art gallery, botanical garden and the circus museum in one place. For extra cost you can see the first floor of Ringling’s mansion which I found very interesting. The Circus museum has miniature model of the circus from the beginning to the end. I really liked the Glass exhibition.

Check the website. Its not a cheap ticket, but they do offer free admission to specific buildings on specific days. Very much worth the visit though
Yes. The Museum of Art and grounds are free every Monday. Regular admission applies to the Ca' Zan and Circus Museum buildings however.
Requires a ticket, and there are levels of access. Highest level gains access to top floor / view of city and guest bedrooms
Admission is $25 or $5 with a student ID. Military is $15. Seniors 65+ are $23. Children 5 and under are free.
Yes. There is no charge to just walk around the grounds. There's the rose garden started by Mabel Ringling, the Bay behind the Mansion and a little cafe to have a bit to eat. Be sure to bring a camera!
Might be a problem, call the Ringly.
Yes. Open every day 10-5 except for Thursday 10-8. Mondays the grounds and the museum is free for everyone. Enjoy
There are wheelchairs, the museum is free on Mondays only.
We paid 70 dollars total to be able to tour the museums and the first floor of the mansion and grounds. You have to wear armbands and masks to enter all the venues. To walk the grounds might be free, but nothing else is. The Banyan Trees were fascinating.
