I believe it was Fr. Michael presiding when I visited... he struck me as a solid priest who was friendly, and also, who knew what he believed and was not ashamed or embarrassed of the Catholic Church's position on certain issues. I have been in a state of spiritual unrest the last couple years. Out of all the churches I've visited (some wildly strange, some fine), only in the Catholic Church do I experience the world being blocked at the door and I am instantly at peace in the midst of the sanctuary.

St.marys became our family parish when we retired from the Navy in 1993 but in 1997 we were called away due to work and medical but now I'm so very happy to say we are coming home back to Spokane and back to st Mary's thanks be to god
