Asked the priest to check on our loved one, he said it's his day off! C'mon now! She stays in Fahy West right next door. I am not Catholic, but have always been impressed with the priest and nuns because of their selflessness and selfless service. I know folks are only human, but never seen a member of clergy denied comfort to a family or person with the response, "It's a holiday, my day off." Guess the Lord's work is on a schedule too. It was labor Day after all; but my mother-in-law just lost her daughter the day before and was bedridden...I am without words for this particular rectory. I know Father Joe would have come, what's going on Spokane Catholic dioceses--I know you are better than this! God Bless!
