Lovely lakeside campground for fun family summer activities! Great helpful staff and accommodations for all sizes of rigs and tent camping.

Fantastic place. Was our first trip ever In our RV. Lush green grass, nice wide boat loach, big dock. Lakes a bit small, and a little scummy, but we had a great time jet skiing. The ranger and staff were so friendly and made you feel welcome. Everything was clean and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Park is very well maintained. Ranger Rick runs a tight ship. Scott and Charlie go out of their way to help and to make sure your stay is enjoyable. OUr camp hosts, Mick and Janette, were a wealth of knowledge and a joy to visit with. Be sure you experience the personal touches like the cribbage board made out of an old tree. Swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, or a good old game of wiffle ball. It's all available.

The park is easy to find right off Hwy 21. Small town nearby with groceries and other supplies. The full hookup sites are disappointing – nothing but gravel and very close together. Firepit is in back of the site in common grass area. The partial hookup sites are much nicer with lots of room between sites. Some really nice walk-in tenting sites along the lake shore. Good boat launch, docks right by campground. Nice lake stocked with trout. Camp host on site and lots of birds to watch. Some easy hiking trails with great lake views. There are lots of “No Hunting” signs in the campground, apparently this park is heavily used by hunters during fall hunting seasons. The park is clean, with plenty of grass and some shade for hot days. Picnic area with muddy beach is a moderate walking distance from campground. Not a great place for swimming. Life jackets honesty program for kids and various planned activities available.

My parents were up there this past week and came home today and things were open. I know that doesn't guarantee that things will stay open but as of this afternoon they were.
Republic. Beautifull park! Highly recommended.
Reserve on Washington state parks web site it will tell you availability
Always there is additional overflow parking if your vehicle doesn't fit in the spot. One thing to remember is that your camping space is only for one vehicle. Any additional require a $10.00 per night fee.
Not that is being mentioned by the Washington State Parks website. I always advise calling the staff on the day you plan to arrive. Things can change very quickly.
