We stopped on our way from Arizona to Montana to visit friends and family. Coincidentally, Teutonic had an open house that weekend. A delightful time was had by all. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable as well as pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed the interesting information on the various wines and stories regarding them. Our group purchased several wonderful bottles of wine and we will most definitely return when passing through again. And I am certain the family living Portland will be stopping by as well.

The wines that Barnaby is making are forward thinking and out of this world. I love what he is doing with noble rot (candied mushroom Riesling) and grapes that were affected by the wildfires (sea foam, rauchweins). The wines here reflect our current environment. They're beautiful. A focus on German/Alsatian wines, natural wine, wild fermentation, old oak barrels. The first time I had a glass of Teutonic was in Houston in 2018 and it was Pig & Swords - immediately fell in love with that beautiful skin contact. The wines are food friendly and there's not a bad wine. Since the pandemic, tastings have to be scheduled online.

Wine tasting with good friends. Leslie was especially helpful and knowledgeable about the wine. And of course the wines are top notch. Unfortunately because of COVID many businesses have had to change how they accommodate their customers. This can sometimes be challenging. While I used to love the events and drop in tastings at Teutonic, this unfortunately is not possible right now. Let’s all practice kindness and patience. The folks at Teutonic are doing a great job in keeping the wine tasting experience alive and well.

This place has a really good collection of wines and the ambiance inside is great. If you visit them in the evenings, there is live Jazz music on sometimes which makes the visit more worth it. A really good spot for a casual date or to wind down after a busy day of work.

We have decided to focus more on direct wine sales and building our wine club, and with that, we are no longer hosting music events.
They have the best white pinot noir. You can purchase it at the winery. Tell them the tour guide in the kilt sent you.
