Truly the most renowned/historical park of this side of WA state. This is definitely the main tourist attraction. I’ve lived in Spokane for 4years now & the beauty of this dynamic area & all the many details, art & cherished monuments never gets old to look at. Not to mention it’s a well developed “mini town” in itself.
Summer
Riverfront park is a must see if you are visiting Spokane for any amount of time. The planners and developers have thought of everything to make this park inviting, accessible to all ages and skill levels, with so many activities to choose from. Bring your camera for 360-degree views from the moment you enter. I was there for lilac season, and that was heavenly!

Beautiful walk for all ages with lots of cool sculptures. Great showcase of the area. Little ice rink track for doing loops that was pretty unique, and a cool chalk art area under the bridges. The park is perfect for an afternoon or evening walk no matter the time of year. Lots of stuff closed, like the indoor carousel- I'm presuming because of Covid. Still a great walk none-the-less to enjoy the day and people/bird watch!

Beautiful and clean. The park brings you a lot activities such Cable car, ice skating, Merry-go-round, picnic and more. The Info-Cabin is very helpful, the lady who attended to us was so nice and friendly (I forgot her name but I remember she is from California) super sweet. You can read and see the history of the river in beautiful Iron art. Also you can see the dam and get closer on the cable car. A lot see. 💞🙌🏻

Dogs of all sizes are allowed in the park when on a leash with their owner, who assumes all responsibility for the dogs behavior (and waste - there are bags and disposal posts near the entrances to the park and maybe a couple other places). No matter the size, if your dog is not trained to be in/among the public, it is not recommended. (The law favors people if an incident occurs)
The city building is across the street from the park. If you have a city ticket, i think you pay it there.
I saw significant progress on the basketball court and skate park. I will have more pictures uploaded soon thank for your interest. Have a fun sunny day 👍
We are open! Here is the link to our construction timeline and map: www.RiverfrontParkNow.com Attraction hours: https://my.spokanecity.org/riverfrontpark/hours/
$5 all day pass for the Berry go Round, $5 all day pass for the Carusel, Free water splash pad and dont know about the gondola
One of the top three new attractions requested by the public is a destination playground. The goal of the playground is to create an inclusive, safe, dynamic, high quality nature-based play/learn environment for children of all abilities and their families. Our design team is 30% complete with design concepts for the North Bank of Riverfront. Elements include: 1.) Playground, focused on inclusive play with a theme of the Great Flood that shaped our region 2.) Recreation amenities that could include a wheels park and signature basketball court 3.) Parking https://my.spokanecity.org/riverfrontpark/redevelopment/five-major-elements/regional-playground/
They sure do, it's a carasoul but they have several things that are awesome! 😊😊
There are several lots available that are pay Lots. Or street parking if you can find it.
I'm not sure. I didn't see them while we were there.
You can find our attraction hours on our website: https://my.spokanecity.org/riverfrontpark/hours/

No wheelchairs to rent there.
Yep its completely free for the playground and its AMAZING for kids! They should have a blast. Parking downtown is the only cost you will incur but there's several options with metered parking or in the mall lot across the street. If your gonna make a day of it, its totally worth it though! Have fun!
They are not currently open at this time, they most likely won't open back up until next year.
Check: Spokane Pavilion Concerts
The cable car starts between the mall and the mobius science center.
You'd have to check on a geocache site or app. I think that's part of the adventure.
At riverfront park? Not to my knowledge.. There used to be an imax and a kiddie rollercoaster.. They have a big red wagon with a slide. They have a carousel. Ans they have a skating rink in summer and ice skating in winter that is outdoor.
Today
There's no longer a movie theater in the park. However, the mall does have an IMAX AMC.
I do not know if they have a gift shop but email me and maybe I can figure something out for you.
Yes, Maneto Park on the So Hill has many nice picnic areas & cook shelters. But if you want the river there are other parks east & west of town.
The new skating Ice Ribbon will be opening today...it's awesome. Skate rental is $4.50 and skating is $6.50 an hr( i'd say if you have your own skates bring them or seriously look into investing in some( check eBay ,Craig's list ,thrift stores etc) if you plan to skate a lot. I hope you enjoy yourself. Next year get yourself some rollerskates as that's what it will then be used for :) Btw kids are cheaper too to skate but I forgot what they said on price( thinking it was $4.50 but don't quote me on that ). Hope this helps . Also there are other things to do in the park.
Dont know I dont live there I was just visiting.
There are local restaurants near the park and during the summer months there are often food vendor available.
