Horrible experience. Manager “Tamika” was extremely rude. My friend had ordered the smoothie “Paradise Point.” They incorrectly served her a “Peanut Paradise” and claimed she ordered it wrong. It would be strange for her to order it wrong when she orders it every single time. Tamika told her that she needed to turn on her communication skills and listen when they read back her order. The thing is, they did read back the order and they read it as Paradise Point. It took a lot of back and forth arguing between my friend and Tamika for them to simply remake the drink correctly. We went again a few days later (today) because we do like the smoothies and wanted to give them another try. As soon as we walked in Tamika and the other workers were giving me and my friend dirty looks. Tamika then said to me “Which one of you is Lily?” I told her it was me and she was telling the employees I was the one who left a bad review. She told me that since I was not the one who got my order messed up last time I shouldn’t have left the review. I ignored her. She then continued to make jokes to the employees how my friend and I were back already, after we had just left a bad review. The employees proceeded to keep staring at me and my friend while we were just quietly waiting for our mobile order to be made. Since you guys will also be looking at this review and joking about it amongst yourselves. You can go ahead and try to make an excuse.

My wife and I stopped at the Tropical Smoothie Cafe here is Sun City Center yesterday and purchased 4 smoothies, a wrap and the extra cost premium side for the wrap, maple sweet potatoes. The smoothies were just Ok, nothing special and certainly not enough to justify their cost. The wrap was good. When I opened the sealed container, that had obviously been microwaved, containing a tiny portion of sweet potatoes they looked less than appetizing. I took one bite and immediately thought they had mistakenly served me DOG FOOD! Terrible! I went back to the counter and asked to exchange them for another menu item. The girl didn’t know what to do and went in back to ask the manager. She returned with the manager’s response: they couldn’t exchange them or offer a refund because I had opened the product. Nice customer policy, like it or lump it. This was our first visit and will definitely be our last. You can get much better food at a far more reasonable cost anywhere!

Man this place is ran with a five star quality service!! Smoothies are consistent every time I order (daily) it's very hard to find a tropical smoothie this clean and orderly. Everyone working takes the time to be sure your order is accurate and you're happy. Top shelf customer service!! Speaks volumes from management.

I'm at a tropical smoothie at least 4 times a week. But I must say that the Sun City tropical smoothie is the BEST! It's always busy, but the staff (especially Tameka) is always friendly, efficient and the smoothies are consistently good! I don't know if they give out clean awards, but they are the Cleanest smoothie cafe ever. I'm grateful for their presence in the Wimauma area, do yourself a favor - SUN CITY TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE!
