Sunset Grill and Beach Bar

First time here did not know what to expect, it was very busy. The sunset view as amazing and the beach was too. The outside bar was very nice but packed. I tried the crab cakes with risotto and the seasonal vegetables, it was very good. My SO had the cheeseburger with fries, he enjoy it very much. It was a very nice place to visit especially during our beautiful summer nights. I’ll definitely return to enjoy their live music and outside bar.

Service was great on the 1st day we sat right on the deck right outside of the restaurant, The 2nd day that we came,we just wanted to have a couple of drinks on the walkway. Because my son has mobility issues and it was hard for him to walk all the way back down to the bar. There were numerous open tables but we were told that we couldn't have a drink at those tables only at the bar that we HAD to order food To sit at 1 of those tables. I could see if all of the tables were full But there were plenty that were open and I did explain about my son's issues but were told by the hostess we had to order food. This was a bit of at turn off, I understand rules but every so often you can make an exception, We did end up getting unwanted food just so we could sit and have a drink. It wasn't the server's fault and she treated us well. We did not come back for a 3rd time. It also would be nice to have access to the bar from the beach.

We had a lovely time and had a great table for sunset. I was a bit surprised by the bill at the end, it was an average of $42 per person and three people had hamburgers but we did have a couple appetizers and drinks i suppose. I had the jambalaya pasta, it was very tasty. My wife enjoyed most of the fresh catch sampler but the fish was a little dry she said, but loved the shrimp and scallop. Overall we had a good time and the service was good. I would go back but i would pay closer attention to what all we ordered.

Great hidden resort style restaurant. Good food selection with good prices. Great service; very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer military discounts as well. They have indoor and outdoor dining with live music. Call ahead, sometimes they are crowed, but do not take reservations. They can accommodate most size parties and also have an event room and staff. Enjoy the sunsets and a walk on the beach or pier.
