A little cluttered here but real nice people in receiving. Only 2 pallets of meat coming off here. Next 2 stops are in WA.

Overall a good experience. Arrived an hour early ( Sunday @ 0430) and was able to get a dock door immediately. Guard was very professional and friendly, even gave us two cookies for our dog! As to policy though, Fred Meyer is extremely stringent with rules. No pets allowed out of the truck and absolutely no one under 18years old allowed out of truck. There is an indoor bathroom and snack machine available at receiving, which the lady there was friendly and got us checked in quickly. As to the time to unload, 4 1/2 hours which is respectable considering we had a full trailer. However; the lumper fees are double the average we have paid nationwide it was almost $400.00! The app used to pay the lumper fee didn't work, it will decline all credit cards and even a Com Data check. So one must go to the receiving office to pay. They were aware that the app didn't work and it would have helped if they informed us about it prior to us getting frustrated with having cards declined. The grounds are clean and overall this is a well run DC, though a bit strict on rules that might make some drivers feel a bit unwelcome.

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment time. The whole getting a door and the checking in process took about 50 minutes. The receiver was on break. They told me it would be about 4 hours to unload me and I explained I only had 1:53 on my clock. I told them I'm sleeping at door #10. I'm not driving without hours. It's ridiculous here.

No parking there or around the area cops ck for trucks parked over night the closest thing is view point on 205 or the ta / pilot in aura
I am a driver for Fred Meyer. There is no overnight parking for trucks at our facility. Security will force you to leave. There is no convenient parking nearby that I am aware of, so it's best to come into the DC with plenty of time left on your clock. Everything I have said is my own opinion and not that of Kroger Co.
Off load times at any DC have many variables a 1 to 2 hour window is normal. Outside of this time range it is typically caused by additional factors such as shifted freight inside the truck, issues with paperwork provided to the DC from the shipper, or a failure to arrive at the appointment time. This DC is a driver unload facility. This is always the fastest option. Lumpers are available for hire on site.
Probably not but call or have your broker call and see if they have a cancellation opening
