We were excited to have our 2 year old start at this center. When we toured, the classroom seemed very clean, organized, a good size, and they had good Covid-19 protocols in place. However, after only 2 days attending this center, our toddler started displaying very concerning behavioral changes. Shouting “stop it” and “go away” when changing her diaper, and when playing at home, she crouched down seemingly scared with her hands up saying “please stop, go away”. There was no way for us to know what was going on throughout the day other than to call, they don’t provide any kind of menu showing what the kids will be eating, and it’s hard to tell if they’re actually trying to teach them anything. My husband also heard one of the teachers screaming at another child when he was picking up our daughter on her 2nd and last day. I emailed the owner letting her know that we wouldn’t be bringing her back and expressing our concerns and reasons for this decision and she didn’t bother to respond or call to follow up or get more information. This center may have been around for a long time, but if you’re looking for a place for your child to learn, and feel safe, this would not be a place I would recommend. I typically don’t leave negative reviews, but I felt obligated to do so. I was swayed by the majority of positive reviews and had I read something similar to what we’ve experienced, we definitely wouldn’t have bothered to get more information, let alone send our daughter here.

My child loves this daycare, they have been so good for me during COVID-19 with all of their safety precautions. They check temperature and clean hands/shoes before letting anyone in the center - masks required also. They even let you call ahead so they can bring your child to your car! I love them!

My son has been attending this daycare since he was 3 months and now is a healthy happy one year old. The staff at a Family Child Care are awesome. I love the fact that this daycare has an open door policy, is breastfeeding friendly, follows parent instructions on how to care for your child, show love and affection for every child that enter their doors. I am a first time mom, and I am happy to stay this daycare is the complete definition of their name! They truly care about the children and work to resolve any matter that may arise promptly. The Director Ms. Liliana is so sweet and cares about the staff and children.

My daughters have been attending A Family Childcare for over a year and a half. Their name says it all, because they really are family. My youngest started at 3 months. I have never been happier knowing my girls are at a place where they are loved the same way they are loved with they are at home. The infant teacher, Noemi is amazing and cares for your baby like her own. I can go on and on about how happy I am! One most important thing for me is, my youngest is breastfeed and they have ALWAYS followed what I have said and NEVER gave anything else to her. They have NEVER looked down upon me for nursing her and not giving her formula or cows milk. She is now in the 1 year old classroom, they provide food, but are ok with me sending her food and still giving her breastmilk. Ms. Noemi made sure as she transitioned to the 1 year old classroom she showed the teacher exactly how to care for my daughter's feedings the way I want her it and not the way they want it. My 3 year old has NEVER had juice and is very picky with eating meat, this is ok to them because again it really is what mom and child wants, not what the daycare wants. I was SO nervous sending my girls especially with my 3 year old having an egg allergy. I have NEVER had a problem. I only wish I would have chosen them sooner, then my little girl wouldn't have a scar from her previous well known named daycare. All the staff members are bilingual. The owner is always on site, if that doesn't say enough! All the staff make a connection with the parents. My 3 year old actually looks forward going to school! She knows all of her letters and has picked up some spanish and can spell and fully write her name! When you pick up your kids, you can see the connection the teacher and students have because they always hug each other and tell each other "I Love you!" I look forward to spending the next few years with A Family Childcare! It's afforable care, without sacrificing your pocket. It's clean, you actually see the staff cleaning. The teachers are very happy there and are there because they really love what they do. They also offer aftercare for school age children and care when there is no school. They provide homework assistance. The older kids are always happy and Ms. Liliana and Claudia know how to make it fun for the older kids. I am so happy I chose A Family Childcare and you will be too!! They have an open door policy so stop in for a tour!
