Kind of a rundown store there was no staff helping customers the day I went,. I approached someone and they all but ran away from me. Pretty good selection for such a small Big Lots.

They have a lot of good prices. The Christmas items are all marked down. The checkout area was clean and it didn't take long to be checked out. The cashier was friendly and knew what she was doing. Overall an excellent experience.

This Big Lots will do in a pinch. I can find great work socks, 10 pair for $5.00. Have snacks you may be craving. A recent 'halloween' jar candle only put me back $3.50 and it smells good, yet burns fast. Broyhill bath mats were $18.00 each; higher than Target prices, but match my shower curtain perfectly. The downsides are: usually only one register is open and working, and it's really warm and stuffy inside like there's no fresh air moving, at all. Biggest downside is: you will ALWAYS be charged double for an item, or have something added to your bill, for skimming. Buyer BEWARE. It's a known scam to those who know to check receipts against items you walk out with. The cashiers pocket that money. Or charge you for a 2 liter soda they drink or take home. And when they do it all day long they are making out really well. Whether by skimming cash or product. When you catch them at it they play nice, or dumb, like it was a mistake. Yet it happens EVERY time we have shopped there. Just an FYI.
