I am currently using coast of Maine raised bed mix and I can not complain about the growth thus far. I am more concerned with the way the soil holds water. I haven’t Watered my plants currently starting the third week of seedling stage and the bottom of pot is still wet and heavy. I know now to use pearlier to add air but is there a way to dry the soil up without hurting the plant ?

Hands down the best organic living soil you can buy.

This is the best organic soil products out there. I highly recommend using a the seedling starter at the top of your pots, the platinum mix throughout and the lobster compost on the bottom. Lastly, add microbes to bring the soil completely alive.

Having used their products for about 2 years now, I am very happy. While nothing will compete with using synthetic nutrients tailored for your crop, The Stonington Blend does an amazing job! I did a few crops and a few crops with a slightly modified blend. I found this product works much better if you put some drainage rock in the bottom (I use fabric pots, well drained) but a thin layer of hydrocorn in the bottom and some extra perlite mixed in showed much better results for my needs. I do supplement with some fish fertilizer on some feedings and top dress with compost in between plantings but have been very happy with my results re using my soil over and over! Again yield id not as great as a good synthetic but this is much easier and tastes much better!

Whilesale prices are typically available only to businesses, but check with Cameron (in sales).
