Nice place to take a short stroll, but unless you are familiar with the area it is very difficult to find. There is just a small gate off McMullen Booth Road where you can park your car. You can then take a small walk by the creek and around the pond. Seemed to be a park on the other side, but could not figure out how to access the park. Would be helpful if there were more clearly posted signs for those who don't live in the area.

Pleasant area with several ponds and lake tarpon outflow canal. One never knows what they will see in the marsh to raptors flying over head. Numerous birds show up when migrating. Many call it home. Currently common gallinule and their adorable offsprings are around the pond. Tri-color herons, Anhingas, green herons, redwing black birds, so many more. Easy hike. July 16, 2018.

No you cannot drive your car through there is parking but very small and no there is no cost to enter
There is a small, unpaved parking area on the side of the road (McMullen Booth). You can park on the grass in front of the locked gate. Be careful exiting and entering McMullen Booth Road.
