It has a great park for the kids. Love water but it's not has a lot if big rocks and my kids have all cut there feet on the bottom. Water shoes should be recommended before swimming. They do however keep the bathrooms clean.

A little bit of wildlife viewing on a very chilly day. Nice playground and picnic areas with grills for cooking. There’s a nice walking trail and also a wide boat ramp with a lot of parking. I’m quite sure that this place gets very busy during the high peak times. We saw Ducks, cranes and seagulls flying about. Good place for watersports, fishing, boating. This is a Very nice place that’s close to beautiful downtown Chattanooga with easy access via highway 153.

Yes, there are signs as you get close to the restrooms that dogs are not allowed past that point. There is plenty of space upriver from there to get dogs in the water. It just keeps them out of the official swimming area & playground
Yes the water is high enough to swin in. The water is still cold!!!
It cab get crowded so I would be mindful of that but yes, there is sufficient area for that. If you're asking specifically of there are bike trails then no.
