I like the convenience of Clynk what I sometimes don't like is finding the drop off full. I guess it's a product of the times, lack of help but it's frustrating when there's no room to leave your bag and you need to drive to another location and hope for space there. Other than that I like it...

I’m not receiving full value for my returns. So far, I’ve returned 878 containers through Clynk (by their count) and only received $41.75, or $.0475 per container. 1 or 2 percent of those returns were $.15 containers so Clynk is significantly under-paying what the State of Maine mandates. Plus having to pay for supplies, I’m not getting the value here. I can go to a close-by redemption center and get full value with zero investment.

Excellent customer service, I was missing my card and Alyshia was a huge help in tracking down my account and getting me set up with the new mobile app card. The convenience of the Clynk service and doing our part in recycling makes this a perfect match . Thank you to the entire Clynk Team

We have been so happy to use CLYNK. It has made bottle return so simple for us. Very practical and convenient. And I will add that anytime I had questions/concerns about CLYNK or my account, calling the customer service number, Alyshia, has been the one to help me. Not only is she very friendly, but always very helpful. I do commend her for her customer service! Thank you! We will not stop using CLYNK!

Yes, CLYNK drop locations in Maine and New York are still open and accepting bags.
Call and talk to them. I've never had any problems. Always make sure that your bags are tied completely so your bottles don't fall outllout
I don't think so. I've returned bottles like that before and they've been rejected but not 100%sure
There are two ways to get a new CLYNK card. You can call Customer Support at their toll free number, (866) 883-4113 and request a new card and it will be mailed to you(your old account be merged with a new one). Or, you can visit a participating Hannaford location and grab a card at the kiosk---then call CLYNK's customer support at the number above and they will immediately link your old account with your new one.
A few weeks ago I dropped off 2 bags and was only credited for one. I called them and the girl took all the info then credited my acct. for the same amount that was in the other bag. Now I'm wondering how many people are just assuming every bag gets counted and goes into their acct.
www.clynk.com They'll send you a starter kit with a card, bag tags and a coupon for some free bags.
Short answer is yes, you can CLYNK them. We get containers that have no Maine deposit regularly, which you do not receive a credit for, but they do get recycled. Usually they are from out of state, so this case you mention seems odd, but if they have a bar code from ME you will get credit.
Hello Claire. We can easily replace your card. A CLYNK Customer Support Associate will contact you on Monday. Have a great weekend.
Becky, thanks for reaching out. The vast majority of stores are picked up at least one time a day and many of them receive two or three and sometimes even four pick ups depending on location and the stores volume. Where do you CLYNK? Depending on which location you use, there are better times of the day where the depots are less crowded such as early morning, mid-day or evening.
We do recommend scanning each bag - that way we know how many you've dropped and if there is an issue with a bag going missing, it makes it easier for us to track and then credit your account.
I've been using clink for over 10 years and I've never had a problem of any kind. I also did a phone system for them about 8 years ago and they're a group of top notch folks. I've always believed that if someone treats a vendor with respect then they'll always do right by their customers
Hi Sue, Good question. You'll need your physical card and your PIN number. We have CLYNK kiosks inside of participating Hannaford locations in ME and NY. You'll scan your card, enter your PIN, and select the amount you'd like to withdraw. A slip will print which you can take to the checkout line. You can apply the total toward your grocery bill or receive cash.
Hi Christie and thank you for reaching out. We require CLYNK-brand bags for two reasons. First, they are made from reclaimed plastic, ensuring that they never will be landfilled or end up in waterways. Second, they are semi-transparent for the safety of our Processors - they need to be able to detect any broken glass or hazardous materials.
I double checked and this is incorrect. CLYNK drop off hours are set by the store where they are located. Hours may not be 24/7 depending on location.
Great question Sydney. The containers are taken to our Plants for processing which entails scanning each container's barcode and separating out by material type so it can be "baled" and sent to beverage manufacturers for reuse. Here's a short video that explains how we do it: https://youtu.be/JbxQrhJi7TQ
Yes all your deposits stuff go together no sorting
Just scan your keycard and pin # at the kiosk. It will ask you what you want to do. Go from there.
Yes you can
You will not get credit for flat bottles or cans.
Hi Mimi, unfortunately, not at this time. You can find our locations at https://www.clynk.com/locations/. Thanks for getting in touch!
Hi Michael, Julia is correct. Our plant uses machines with scanners that scan the barcode of every container in a customer bag.
You don't get a check. You use the card you got when you opened the account. Go to a kiosk and have it print you a receipt. Take that to the cashier for cash.
Same thing happened to me. I put in 2 bags and only got credit for 1after a week.
Hi Scott, containers can be redeemed in the state that they are purchased regardless of the address on your CLYNK account. Be sure to look into New York's bottle bill for a list of what the state accepts. And the containers are tracked by UPC code - credit is not based on the stamp, again per the state.
Ues you can.
They count them at the warehouse.
Hi Vikki, great question! It's helpful if you do to keep a clean recycling stream. Bottles and caps are different plastic types.
No. Just bag them. Put a sticker on them and hand them over.
When did you drop them off like if it was a weekend it may take a while as they don't do weekend pickups and or if the bag had ripped all the cans would be discarded
