I only been there once, and it pains me to say that I ended up leaving before being seen. I had waited 8 hours to be seen and still wasn't called back. They were extremely busy, but with that being said, the staff was was so nice and friendly to me so I would/will go back..

WORST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT EVER. Emergency does not stand for walk in clinic and that how they approach emergency medicine. After being in the waiting room for over 2 hours in debilitating abdominal pain, my wife had to call an ambulance to take me to another hospital to be treated. This hospital is so mismanaged and could careless about the severity of an individuals circumstances. I highly recommend any hospital but this one. PRAISE JESUS the hospital I was taken to was able to quickly find the blockage and treat the situation. They immediately recognized the severity of pain and treated for it. I am at home now on medication awaiting possible surgery in the next few days if the medication does not resolve the problem. If you have to call an ambulance to come pick you up and take you to another hospital for treatment, that’s borderline malpractice. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO ROANE COUNTY TENNESSEE HOSPITAL.

I have had bad experiences here before. But last night I cut my toes up with glass and although I thought the wait was long I was super impressed with Dr Holland in the ER. He was very gentle and had a great demeanor even though there were other people getting belligerent . The nurses were very nice and even told us goodbye when we left. Thank you for the great service.

Husband here said I couldn’t go in with him because they were seeing him in the hallway. My question is if they are seeing him in the hallway is that hills compliant and if it is Joppa compliant why can’t I go back with him I asked nirse if they would alert me before giving him ANYTHING-she blew me off and said if the doctor wants to call you he will 3 hours later had to walk up and ask for update on husband she rolled her eyes and called to the back said he’s being seen by doctor and they are waiting on lab results REALlY?? those labs would have been done 2 hours ago not at all happy with this place will never come back. And if you want to be patient advocate don’t come here they won’t let you in
