Placed a call in order within 30 minutes of their closing which I typically am wary of but was in town for work and we had just gotten done for the day. It was a wonderful decision. Everything was really good and they were very quick also. I hear they have a great Margarita as well, hope to get to sample that before we go back home. I recommend based off the food 100%.

We got to the restaurant at about 4pm. They did not appear busy. We were seated quickly but waited a little longer than usual to be waited on. I had a hard time understanding the waiter because he talked fast. His accent had a little to do with it too. Then we waited to give our order. Chips and salsa came out quickly. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for food. An employee walked by (not the waiter) and we asked what the delay was. We came at shift change, he said. After waiting some more, I found our waiter, who apologized in a hurried manner without offering a consolation (how about more chips and salsa? Nope). Finally, the food came. My taco salad was cold and soggy. It had obviously sat for awhile. I decided I had had enough and found the manager. I explained what happened and asked for a discount. She was gracious and took 25% off the bill. Here is my recommendation to this restaurant. Either get rid of the waiter or make sure he gets some serious training in customer service. I won't go back.

My wife and I had dinner at Los Primos after a lengthy absence and were totally impressed. The interior has been remodeled and represents quite the upgrade. I ordered two meals, anticipating small and poorly prepared portions. Instead, the portions are very large and very attractively presented as well as delicious. Each of our three dishes easily contained the volume for at least two meals. Did I mention the exceptional tastes? Chips are prepared fresh, the perfect complement to an outstanding salsa. The staff were pleasant, attentive, prompt and personal while modeling a professionalism unusual in many eateries. Have I said the food was delicious? Do not take my word for it but treat yourself to Los Primos. Just my opinion that the entire Los Primos experience ranks a conservative 4.8 out of 5 (including the most reasonable prices for quality unusual). We will return! David and Susan

From NC and this place is one of a kind! As good if not better than El Cerro, very authentic, eclectic, friendly, a truly beautiful spot tucked away in the mountains! Carla & Jose made my bday!
