Just moved in from Wisconsin. Also a Pub owner there, so familiar with the business of food. I have been to the Ace across the street so many times, finally I got my chance to try Mei Wei. We ordered Happy Family, Orange Chicken, Seafood, meals not dinners. They came well prepared with plenty of rice separate so you could build your own plate at home. We got fried dumplings that came with a nice light soy dip and crab ragoon, my wifes favorite. All of it was great in fact enough for two meals, and we eat my friend. Ordered online, the girl at pickup was nice. The small place was very clean on the inside, I will try dining in sometime. This will be one of the reviews added to my Wisconsin Tennessee connection page, it was quite good and I will be back.

Hot and sour soup did not have a thickener in it and tasted like dirty dish water. Egg rolls were not fresh. They were refried too many times and had a burnt color and were hard to chew. Wonton soup was watery as well. Crunchy noodles were also re-warmed and you could tell the grease was opd on all the foods. Nothing that we ordered seemed as if it was cooked fresh. The front door needs a fresh coat of paint. The girl did not answer the phone professionally and just said, "Hello!" The proper way to answer the phone for your business at minimum should be..."Mei Wei, can I take your order please?"

First time ordering from here. I had the sweet/sour chicken, it was ok. My wife ordered the Mongolian beef … it was’t like any other Mongolian beef we’ve had and not very good. There’s no other options around Kingston so if you have an inch for Chinese Food, this will probably scratch it but be prepared to be disappointed.

The food was delicious and large portions. I would've liked more veggies in the fried rice. They are not allowing customers in the building due to COVID so a heads up about that would've been nice. I drove from Harriman thinking I could sit and enjoy a meal but only takeout was available.

Most of the restaurant is blocked off. You walk in and wait in a very small room (the entrance). Once your food is ready, they hand it to you through an opening in the "wall".
They don't but you can call them and make a order and go pick it up or the old fashion way and go there and order in person. Wait time is normally around 15 minutes.
