The weather was beautiful. The sailing was perfect. The wind picked up as we were leaving the harbor. Once the sails were raised we cruised at about 6-7 knots. We probably could have gone faster but many on our trip were fine with staying level with little listing. Our captain was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions about sailing, boats, weather, the area around Penscobat Bay.

From the very beginning, Abbie and Aaron were amazing helping us get the Schooner Olad reserved for a group trip. They made catering simple (and it was DELICIOUS), and we got exactly what we were promised. The members of our group LOVED the trip, got to help with the sails, thoroughly enjoyed Captain Aaron's wit, intellect and how comfortable he made them feel on the boat, and learning more about the Bay. Thank you so much for making our trip not only possible, but an amazing experience! Highly recommend!!!

this was the highlight of our week in maine. great weather, perfect seats, lovely boat, great vibe all the way around made for an awesome early afternoon jaunt out into the bay. we especially enjoyed the first mate and our chance to raise the sail! we'll spread the word about this great voyage and make a promise that we'll be back. forever grateful!

We had the pleasure of sailing on the Owl with Captain Sarah yesterday and of all days...her birthday! Despite having some foggy weather, the trip was amazing. There were six of us total...two adults, three kids, and the fur baby, Ruby. I could go on and on about Captain Sarah‘s passion to show her guests a great time. She was very easy to talk to and loves kids. She personalized our experience by addressing us by our names and provided us with lots of education, not to mention the beautiful scenery. The owners of this beautiful boat and company are VERY lucky to have her on their team! Thanks, Captain Sarah from the bottom of our hearts! You are simply amazing! Highly recommend a private charter with Captain Sarah!
