Cute little park. Do not follow your GPS into the marina park, you'll have to pay for parking. Turn right just before the booth and follow the road back to the parking. Benches available for sitting. Handicapping parking, but the smooth path only goes so far. Wheelchairs and walkers won't make it on the walkway up to the lighthouse.

I absolutely love this park. I follow the bike path on morning my walk/dances ( more fun then power walking.) There are lots of little off paths to explore and rock cliffs of that's your thing. You can walk out to the light house or sit on the many benches placed facing out at the water. I love all the tree areas. Great place to take a break in the shade and feels like ur all alone in a big park.😍

Beautiful park. Nice to see the ocean from another view. The wind was too much! And it wasn't that cold. We couldn't stay for long.

Short lighthouse within the city limits of Portland, ME. Very scenic with a little park attached to it. There is also a maritime WWII memorial on the grounds. Went during the winter despite the cold. The temperature was about 23 degrees but the wind was brutal; just keep that in mind.

This beautiful park is free of charge. This lighthouse is Greek inspired, I'd definitely pack a picinic lunch, bring your family & a frisbee/football...read the history posted learn something and enjoy your surroundings. I can't get enough of this beautiful lighthouse.
No overnight parking. Day parking is free. Most South Portland & Cape Elizabeth parks open sunrise to sunset, otherwise closed
You have to apply for an event permit. You can go to the website and find it!
Thank you. Not from around here, in the area for work and thought I'd get a line wet before I head home.
I have brought my dog to the boat ramp for a quick dip if no one is putting in or taking out. Off season you might be able to get away with a short off leash stint in the grassy area, but not on the walk ways or woods.
