I wish I had read the reviews first before waiting months for an opening in the puppy class. The facility is very noisy which makes it difficult to hear what the trainer says. My labradoodle dog was easily distracted by all the noise and number of dogs. The trainer even inferred I should have done a better job choosing the breed of my puppy. That made me feel sad. There were 6 puppies in the class to begin with and by the #3 class there were only 2. I believe in the intent of the club, and support its mission, but the class was not a good fit for us.

Very large and clean facility with a huge variety of classes and everyone there has been friendly and welcoming :)

I enrolled our adopted at 15 month shepherd in basic obedience (6 - 50 minute classes for $95) instructors were varied. There is little to no individual one on one tutorial. Nevertheless our dog benefited from group socialization and introduction to some basic dog training. There was a 3 week wait for the recommended follow up course. Small step above basic but still really basic. This course is also $95 for 6- 50 minute sessions shared with 10 or more other dog owners. At the conclusion of this course I decided not to return for any additional offerings. Some of the class time was just wasted on frivolous talk or class conductance that to me did not help my dog to reinforce a valued behavior. The class lacked consistent weekly group reinforcement of the most important nature, especially the last 3 meetings. The facility is spacious but that fact unfortunately contributes to poor acoustics. Our instructor a slight man spoke with a soft voice that sounded muffled in the large room where sounds from other classes often could be heard. If the instructor was directing his voice away from your position in the group it was impossible to understand his words. You just had to guess..... Not good.

Our mini schnauzer Franklin loves agility training at the club. We have learned so much together and are forever bonded and closer due to great training. It is also wonderful exercise for pup and his mama. So much fun!

Puppy and basic classes are $105 each. All other classes are usually $90
Yes they are both old enough. Here is the website for athe group you can contact them directly for more information http://www.crazy4canines.org/
Classes last from 50-55 minutes each. :) Bring lots of pea-sized soft treats. Chicken, hot dogs, cheese or soft dog treats cut into small pieces work well. Arrive 5 minutes early for your class. Do not feed her at least four hours before class. We require your dog be vaccinated against: distemper (CDV), parvovirus (CPV), hepatitis (adenovirus) (CAV), parainfluenza (CPiV) and bordatella. Bordatella may include parainfluenza (CPiV)—ask your vet if you are unsure. For dogs over 6 months, please bring proof of rabies vaccination. Bring a copy of vaccination proof to your instructor for your first class. Usually your last receipt from your vet's office will have this information included.
Call DTCSP & ask if you could exercise your pup in the trick arena.
Judging starts at 9 AM. The trial probably won't end until after 3 PM
You can go to their website or call them for class schedules. The puppy classes are great and make a big difference.
