Dasher's transformation was immediate. Even just after one lesson, he became more relaxed, was walking in a loose leash heel, and listening better than ever before. It was a stunning change of behavior that left us speechless when me and my wife took him for walks. We still can't believe the difference in his behavior in such a short period. After we completed his 4 lessons, it's a significant difference in how he listens to us. We now are much more comfortable taking him out to dog parks/restaurants without fear of being stressed out the entire time. Dasher is continuously looking to us for guidance and listens/reacts quickly when we need his attention. The added group classes are just an extra bonus. Training where other dogs are present allows us to work together to make sure that even in a more distracting environment we feel more and more confident and in control.

Mark Nowak is the best dog trainer I have ever met. Each time we picked up our puppies from day training, to see the progress they had made was absolutely astounding. The puppies would get so excited to see Mark and really enjoyed the structured training. Worth every cent. We started with two crazy litter mates and now have two well-heeled dogs. Backstory: We moved to the area last year and our dog was having a hard time adjusting (seeing more aggressive behaviors and anxiety). We’ve always had our dog with a muzzle for dog and people aggression outside of the house, and wasn’t sure where to go after basic training. Mark at Sit Means Sit has been AMAZING! He cares so much for animals and helping them at all stages in life (our pit bull rescue is almost 7). They use a collar that isn’t meant to shock or for correction, it’s a small pulse that reminds them to look to their owner. My dog hands down trusts me more to make decisions where he’d want to react before, and he’s just a more confident pup. Even with the first session (which was the hardest), Mark worked with him to be more comfortable with him and knew when he needed to work with me instead to get the best results. We just had a training session today after two months of being out since I broke my foot, and Mark showed me just how capable my dog is and how much my dog wants to work with me despite distractions of free range dogs and him walking in front of him during recall. We’ve only had a handful of sessions and I’m so excited to see where we’ll be after this year. I can’t recommend them enough! I think I can have an amazing dog in every environment with enough work.
