Just a heads-up: This place isn't open on Thursdays anymore. There isn't a sign on the door or a banner in the parking lot or anything, just a security guard who lets you know. Quite the bummer.

Wednesday July 6, 2022; came in around 10am, never got served. Got my ticket number and 1st text message and waited in vehicle. Never received 2nd text message that day. I’d go in and check and was always told to go wait outside and it was so full inside.

Bruh. Skip this joint and go to the main one in downtown Dallas. I was told there was a 1.5 hour wait in the sun to update my vehicle registration. I said "nope", drove all the way downtown, found parking, saw two different people for two different issues, and was done a half hour sooner than the time it would have taken to just get in this building. Typical Mesquite place, everyone else gets there before you, no matter the time of day.

I got here and the line was way out the door. After waiting in line 20 minutes, you are given a number, and told to wait outside until they text you. So far it’s been 30 minutes. As far as I’m concerned this is ridiculous for a town the size of Mesquite to not have more organization than this. It would be nice to make an appt or have different lines for different needs. You shouldn’t have to wait over an hour just to get your car registration.

If the child is born in Texas, you can get a birth certificate at any local Vital Records Office across the state. It does not have to be Tarrant county.
